Getting To and From School

• 8:15 a.m. – Students may enter the school and head to their homeroom classrooms.
• 8:30 a.m. – School day officially begins.
• 3:05 p.m. – End of school day dismissal begins.
• 3:10 p.m. – School day officially ends – buses depart campus shortly after this time.

The district contracts with Lake Country Transportation and Mainline Transportation, Inc. to provide student transportation. Visit the transportation page on our district website to learn more.

District transportation information 

The student drop-off in the morning is off 5th Avenue in the car circle. Our doors open at 8:15 a.m. We will start welcoming students from their cars at that time. It’s important to keep the drop-off line moving. Please pull ahead as far as you can when you enter the car circle. Make sure your student is ready to exit curbside. This helps the process run safely and efficiently. Students should have their materials organized before leaving the vehicle.

Families who choose to pick up their child should get a FAST PASS number. To get one, contact our school office. When you arrive, display your FAST PASS in your window. Your child will come outside to meet you. Please keep moving forward during pick-up. We want to ensure kids get in and out quickly. Stay alert during this process. Safety is our top priority. All pick-ups happen in the car circle between 3:05 and 3:15 p.m.

Students walking home will exit through door 15 or leave with their teacher at the front doors. We encourage you to have your child walk with an adult.

Students can ride bicycles and non-motorized scooters with parent/guardian permission and wear a helmet. A bike rack is located near door 15. We recommend using locks. We cannot be held responsible for any bike damage. Motorized scooters are not allowed on school property for safety reasons.
